Giving Back to the Community
Phronesis encourages all employees to participate in a range of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, in many cases using skills learned and developed during their employment with the company. We believe it is important to give our time, expertise, and other skills to society, and not simply to deplete the world’s resources or to perpetually exacerbate disadvantage and inequality. Here at Phronesis, our CSR projects are designed to help the poorest sections of society, expand healthcare, and promote education. We believe that social engagement builds relationships and community which is a key measure of our professional success.
How We're Making a Difference
Protecting nature for future generations
Climate change affects us all. We're taking steps to reduce our environmental impact by:
- Planting 10,000 trees with Give Me Trees Trust to help absorb more carbon than we emit
- Monitoring, auditing, and verifying our carbon footprint across global operations
- Embedding sustainability into travel, procurement, and daily business practices
Empowering through education
Education should be available to everybody. We're helping to remove barriers in India by:
- sponsoring formal and non-formal education for 40 underprivileged children in India
- offering scholarships and technical education for hard-working students
- providing basic facilities to schools to create an improved environment for learning
Access to healthcare for everyone
Healthcare should be available to everybody. We're helping to remove barriers in India by:
- sponsoring healthcare facilities, for example, eye and dental checkups in schools
- providing medical camps and safe drinking water
- contributing to medical expenses for those most in need
